Event Details and Outputs

We are organising a series of events in the Village Hall with plenty of opportunity to hear from Energy and Nature experts and ask all your questions.

Upcoming Events (6.30 to 7.30pm; in the Village Hall):

Friday March 28th in the Village Hall (6.30 – 7.30pm) Home Energy Solutions – for houses of all ages. With an expert presentation on old/traditional houses plus a chance to discuss your thermal camera queries

We have now completed home energy surveys for 35 houses across Hadstock – covering buildings of all ages. Many of you have also borrowed our thermal imaging camera.

Two of our home energy experts – Jonathan Ashe and Chris Dodge – will be attending this session to answer any of your questions.

Jonathan, an architect who specialises in traditional buildings (pre-1910) has completed in-depth retrofit surveys of two of our listed buildings. He will give a presentation on what is now possible for such buildings – and how current planning rules are changing.

Chris Dodge, a very experienced home energy expert, ran our session on using a thermal imaging camera. He will be with us to answer your questions and discuss any of your thermal imaging queries.

… and we will be arranging sessions on – Traditional/listed Houses, the New Home Energy Technologies, Dealing with Waste, Wilding our Gardens and more.

Some of our talks will be run to coincide with the early quiet period of the Community Pub – so do come and ask the experts, have a drink and a chat with your neighbours!
